  • Setting the Standard for Thorough, FCRA Compliant Background Checks – Our compliance department reviews each criminal record before it is reported to the client. With thousands of searches each month, in all of the over 3,100 county court jurisdictions in the United States, these searches are subject to the strictest quality standards. Our searches indicate hits for felony, misdemeanor and infractions filed any time in a subject’s history so long as the State law allows. We report nearly 20% more than our competitors who report the minimum seven years. We find that nearly 1 in 11 subjects sent for screening has a hit on their record.
     
  • Knowledgeable Staff – Our client support department will consult with you to determine what your organizations needs and requirements are and establish a proper, FCRA compliant, employment background check. We believe employers need to be informed when determining a policy for employment background screening, as information offered to the public via databases or information brokers is not always accurate, up to date, and most importantly FCRA compliant. Additionally, all of our staff have been FCRA certified through NAPBS to help you stay in compliance with the federal act.  We monitor each State’s ever changing laws carefully to determine additional compliance. Several States, most notably California, have developed additional laws which limit the content of an employment background check. We are here to help you wade through all of the government mandated laws regarding employment background checks and determine an on-going program to fit those needs.

Your personal account representative will continue to be available via telephone or email when you need us. Should something arise during an employment background check, we are here to help you interpret the reports if needed. With our new progressive screening, you can stage your employment background screening process. Our reports are accurate and easy to read and provide you with the piece of mind when hiring candidates to fit into your organization.
     
  • Privacy and Data Security – With a former Inspector of Scotland Yard as our President you can be sure we are committed to the privacy and security of our clients and their applicants. SingleSource Services computer operations are housed in a third party Network Operations Center (NOC) operated by Peak 10 in Jacksonville, Florida. The facility meets all requirements of a SAS 70 environment. SingleSource data system access is by unique login, passwords requiring alpha and non alpha numeric characters, with forced password changes every 60 days.
